Colm Feore is a Canadian- American television, film, and a stage actor. Some of his most successful performances were in the movies The Sum of All Fears, The Chronicles of Riddick, Pearl Harbor and much more. Feore was born on 22nd August 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born to an Irish Family in Ireland. His family moved to Boston in his early life. But after some time, his family moved to Windsor, Ontario, where he was raised. He grew up and Canada and after completing his secondary education, he went to Ridley’s College, Ontario. After that, he went to the National Theatre School of Canada, Montreal and later he also attended the University of Windsor, Ontario. Feore started his acting career by becoming the member of the North America’s largest acting company theater named Acting Company of the Stanford Festival of Canada.

Feore learned bits of leading roles like those of Hamlet, Cyrano, Romeo and Richard III at Stanford. After working in some theater shows, Feore appeared in many productions. He played the role of Fagin in Oliver. He also appeared in Don Juan. He performed in a leading role in the year 2009. He appeared in the play named Cyrano de Bergerac and portrayed the role of Cyrano. Later, he also played the lead role in the play, Macbeth. In 2014, he played the role of Lear in the play, King Lear. Most of his plays were performed at the Stanford Festival Theater.

After working in theaters, Feore appeared in many television series in Canada. One of his most successful performances was in the show Trudeau. The show was a television mini-series. The series aired in 2002 and was about the life of a former Canadian Prime Minister. The show aired on CBC Television and received a lot of appreciation from both the Critics and the viewers. Feore’s performance was so good that he even won the Best Performance in a Leading Role category at Gemini Award. In 1993, he appeared in a movie named Thirty-Two Short Films About Glenn Gould. He played the role of Glenn Gould in the movie. He played the role of Martin Ward in the super-hit movie, Bon Cop, Bad Cop. After appearing in some Canadian movies, he returned to the Canadian television series.

He appeared in the famous Canadian Television series named Sings and Arrows. He portrayed the role of a crazy executive imposter. The show was a great hit and was even featured on the Sundance Channel. After moving to the United States, Feore appeared in many television series and American movies. He is known for his role as a supporting actor in many Hollywood movies which include The Sum of All Fears, The Chronicles of Riddick, Pearl Harbor, and Paycheck. In 1999, he played the role of an ancient wizard named Andre Linoge in the movie Strom of the Century. He also appeared in the movie, Thor. He also appeared in the 2014 television series, Gotham in which he played the role of Dr. Francis Dulmacher. He played the role of Henry Taylor in the seventh season of 24. For his contribution to the Canadian Film Industry, he was declared as Canada’s Officer of the Order in 2013.
