Salil Acharya, popularly known as Salil is a multi-faceted personality in the glamour world. He is a talented and prolific actor, a former VJ and a RJ. He is also a passionate musician though he has not pursued it on a professional level till now. Salil Acharya has appeared in a number of hit and popular Hindi television shows and Hindi movies. This Delhi based talented actor started out as a VJ and RJ and was first seen in hit comedy series Shararat in a cameo role. Then Salil appeared in the Sony TV; s hit serial Yeh Meri Life hai along with in the role of Kushaan which was the main male protagonist. He got noticed through this serial for his charming screen presence and acting skills. This serial got Salil various acting offers in some of the hit and classic television serials of Balaji Telefilms. Salil Acharya was next seen playing importantly character roles in some of the Balaji biggies like- Kavvyanjali, Kasauti Zindagi Kii, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasturi, Kittoo sab jaanti hai, etc. Salil made his debut into the Hindi film industry with the 2007 hit movie director Mohit Suri’s Awarapan along with where he played the role of the right hand of a gangster Ronnie. He then acted in another blockbuster Aashiqui 2 and another Hindi movie 3 am. Salil is currently busy filming some of the big Bollywood projects and RJ ing for Radio City. Salil Acharya also worked as a movie critic for BBC and B4U entertainment.
