Sohum Shah was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. After shifting to Mumbai, Sohum established his own production house named- Recyclewala Films. Sohum has been honored with the National Award for Best Producer for the film Ship of Theseus. He has played the role of Vinayak Rao in the critically acclaimed 2018 film Tumbbad. Some other movies of actor Sohum Shah are Simran (2017) and The Big Bull (2021).
