Films Pvt Ltd (AKFPL). She was born on 21st November 1983 in New Delhi. Presently, she lives in Mumbai. She did her schooling from Bluebells School International, Delhi. She graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in Mass Communications.

In 2003, she started working as a production coordinator in Delhi for international productions as Vic Sarin’s production ‘Partition’. In 2006, she moved to Mumbai, where her work in films started with the 2007 release ‘ Say Salaam India Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. Later she worked in the films as ‘ Rasiya Bio coming soon... >> Read More... ’ (2008), ‘Dasvidaniya’ (2008) and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ (2010). In 2008, Guneet started a production company, of her own, Sikhya Entertainment.

During the production of ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’, she met Anurag Kashyap, director, and producer. In 2009, she eventually joined the production house Anurag Kashyap Films and became its CEO. Under this banner, she produced films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur I & II’ (2012), ‘That Girls in Yellow Boots’ (2011), ‘ Shaitan Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ (2011) and a few more. Guneet’s first international short film was ‘ Kavi Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, based on bonded labor happening in India; the film was nominated at Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film, 2010.

The short film was directed by Gregg Helvey; it also won Student Academy Award- Narrative, 2009. Guneet collaborated with UK-based production, Yaffle Films and co-produced ‘ Monsoon Shootout Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. She was also part of the production of the film ‘ The Lunchbox Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. Both these films got selected for the International Critics’ Week and at Cannes Film Festival 2013 for the midnight screening.
