Sandhya Mridul is once again one of the popular faces of the Indian television and the movie industry alike. The 39 year old actress has been in this profession since 1993 and has been presenting to us her wonderful work over the years.

She spent most of her growing years across cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Agra. She lost her father at the age of 14 and thereafter was brought up by her brother who is a sitting judge of Delhi High Court. Having done her graduation in Mathematics and post graduation in Marketing, she went on to work for a corporate firm in Mumbai.

Her acting career started much later in Mumbai with her role in the series Swabhimaan (DD National) where she played the role of Shivani. Successively, roles just kept flowing in for her.

Movies like Saathiya, Page 3, Ragini MMS 2 kept augmenting her position in the industry. On the other hand, she did not quit her work on the television. Some of the projects included Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi which was aired on Sony Entertainment Television and was inspired by a Colombian drama “”, Ustaadon ka Ustaad which was a reality show aired on Sony TV and the likes. She also took part in the celebrity dancing competition called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2007 and appeared in the programme called Extra Innings during the 2003 World Cup.
