Archana Padmini

Archana Padmini is an Actress, Film Curator, and assistant director based in Kerala and is known for her works mainly in the Malayalam industry. Archana has done her Master of Arts in English Literature from Maharajas University in Kerala. Archana has been the curator and coordinator for various international and regional film festivals. She has done film and theatre productions as an actor and has also worked on artistic, as well as academic projects. While studying in college, Archana became a part of the film society called Montash, where she used to take part actively. In 2016, she debuted with the Malayalam film ‘With Her’, following which, in 2017, she worked in the film ‘Vith’.

In September 2018, she became the founder member and film festival curator at Minimal Cinema, a production house to support independent and experimental movies. She is also the president of Minimal Cinema. In September 2019, she became the founder member and secretary of the PK Rosy Film Society. In 2020, she was appointed as a moderator at Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFF).
