The Marathi film actress was born on 19 February 1990 and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. She has been a Bharatnatyam dancer since the ripe age of 8. She graduated from Fergusson College, Pune. She stood 3rd in Pune University in M.A. in Psychology degree. She began her career while studying in Fergusson. She is an Indian film actress who has appeared in many Marathi and Hindi films and experimental plays. Early in her career, she was a part of the theatre troupe Aasakta Kalamanch.

In 2014, she appeared in the historical movie Rama Madhav, playing the role of Ramabai, which led to her rise in the industry.
