The hero sings some songs of legendary playback singers which are even today the film industry’s best songs and the music are as popular as it was in 60’s and 70’s. The film could have been better if it was made on lines how one becomes singer even after being inspired from Mohammed Rafi or Mahendra kapoor.

The film is based on weak script and therefore could not provide much entertainment either. One could just like the old numbers and leave the theatres. The screenplay has no graph and even the music is very dull. The chemistry between Swara and Arsh looks less convincing. Kruthika did not deliver her dialogues well and needs more training. Anju Mahendra looks very lavish in many scenes. Vije Bhatia looks almost like Ravi Kishen in the whole film. Though he looks confident in role of a singer, he is just an average performer. Arun Bakshi as organizer is the saving grace in the film. As usual, Aditya Pancholi who is a baddie now in Bollywood, is less convincing. Kishori Sahane as mother of drunkard Aditya Pancholi has projected the straight-backed mother role of Nirupa Roy.

Music by Reet could not track down the originality of old singers like Mahendra Kapoor Mahendra Kapoor was a playback singer in 1960’s, a >> Read More... and Mohammed Rafi. Thereby, the music is a very sad remix. Cinematography by Kasthuri Shelar has captured the streets of Mumbai well. The film lacks convincing script to entertain even till interval.
