The story of the main character from being cut off from her parents and then becoming a writer and making some stupid decisions has been inspired by the Dunham’s own real-life story. The girl Hannah gets a big shock when her parents tell her that they are no longer going to support her financially as they have been doing it since her graduation. Hannah then explores her twenties, “one mistake at a time.” While doing the same, she gets to meet different people.
