The storyline of this serial is based on DC Comics. As the comic focuses on Barry Alien, who has superhero powers and can move with the superhero speed. The serial focuses on Grant Gustin, who portrays Barry Alien and posses the superhero power. He is a Crime-Investigator so, he uses that power to fight against evil and catch them. Due to these powers, he also fights with the people, who have the same power and, they misuse those powers. Another interesting thing in this serial is that the Gustin not only uses his power to fight against criminals but also to hunt the metahumans in the central city.

In this serial Gustin faces the murderer of this mother and Unfortunately, the murderer was from his mentor's family. His mentor wanted to save the murderer and himself. So, they died. The Parallel Universe is also an integral part of this serial. A new creature named Zoom arrives from the Parallel Universe and he kills Gustin’s father. After the death of his father, he defeats Zoom and forces him to save his mother's life. The next part of the serial shows that how a creature named as Savitar arrives from the time.

He is a god-like superhero and does not commit any mistake. At the time when Gustin, travels the future in the time machine, he notices that Savitar kills Iris West. Gustin wants to change what he has seen in the future because he does not want that a godly and, helpful soul should commit this task. After saving Iris and Savitar he takes his space in the speed force and, there he gets traps. Later the other superheroes like him get successful in getting him back from the speed force.
