The Writer-detective paired TV Series ‘Castle’ is back with its 6th season airing 23 episodes. When the 5th season left the viewers with Richard Castle proposing Kate Beckett, the NYPD Detective, things were in a dilemma to her when she accepted his proposal in spite of being promoted to the Justice Department in Washington DC. The 6th season details how both of them deal with the repercussions of their choice.

The Premiere of the Season titled “ Valkyrie Click to look into! >> Read More... ” deals with the investigation of a security module that had been stolen from the security system of a Company called Cyber Tech Trans National. The investigation by Kate Beckett and Rachel McCord reveals that the theft was, in fact, a diversion so that something valuable from the Cyber Tech could be stolen. It was later found out that a very dangerous chemical agent had been stolen from the Trans National, the victim being Richard Castle. By the end of the episode, Beckett reveals that her fiancé has less than a day to live.

The second episode is a continuation of the first in which the toxin that was stolen from Cyber Tech is being linked to Dream World, a training base to kill missions for the Pentagon. Beckett and her partner find out eventually that the whole plot is to discover how the girl friend of Brad Parker, the reporter who wrote about Dream World, was killed. The team realizes that Brad Parker is going to kill Defence Secretary Reed’s wife. They get in time to save her. Meanwhile, Richard Castle opens his eyes to meet his loved ones around him. He is totally cured.

In the third episode, Kate Beckett is fired by the Justice Department when they discover that Beckett leaked out a story that got Svetlana, the girlfriend of the victim in the episode, a political asylum. Charlie Reynolds, the victim who was an ex-actor was used as the spy by the CIA to find out if the director of the film, Anton Renkov was using the film as a cover to smuggle guns into the US. Kate wanted to save Svetlana because she was trying to persuade Charlie to stop spying as she knew how powerful her uncle, Anton Renkov was. But Charlie is found dead before anything could happen.

The number one fan of Richard Castle puts him in trouble in the fourth episode as she flees from her bedroom leaving her boyfriend Angelo Vasquez dead. She then ducks into a nearby dental office and takes hostage of the people inside. A later investigation reveals that Angelo had broken into Emma’s foster home to know the names of his girl friend’s birth parents. Vance, the attorney who had swiped Emma’s juvenile records to confuse the police was the killer. He also happened to be the son-in-law of Emma’s birth father and he did this because he never wanted his share of inheritance to be less. Though Castle is the one who played the decisive role in investigating this case, Beckett gets her job back at the NYPD for her role as well.

The fifth episode fantasies with time travel when two psychopaths Simon Doyle and Garrett Ward are arrested for the murders of Malcolm Wickfield and Shauna Taylor. They were trying to harm Paul DeChild the man who had prevented them from bombing a conference 6 years earlier. Castle and Beckett realize eventually that they were too messed up with the whole time travel thing having to deal with his daughter moving out with her boyfriend.

In the sixth episode, Castle believes that the murder of a 28 year old accountant Susanna Richland was turning out to be the real life Da Vinci Code. However, all it becomes is the legend of the missing dimes, part of their family lore of the victim, a direct descendant of Theodore Rose. Both the victim and the killer had signed up for a game that leads to the missing dimes, however things went out of hand when they had an argument about what they would do with the dimes. At home, Castle has issues with his daughter Alexis as she wants her father to accept her live-in boyfriend Pi. Castle makes a promise that he would do so.

The seventh episode sees the father-daughter duo, Richard Castle and Alexis Castle, uniting over a case that convicted Frank Henson for death penalty fifteen years earlier. The victim was Kim, the neighbor of the accused. Both Alexis and Castle realise that Frank's brother is the real murderer but he would never turn in his brother. However, Beckett enters with her instinct saying that both brothers may be innocent. The real murderer turns out to be the father in law of Officer Lanie, the cop who abused Alexis. The victim had found out that the Cop was a meth dealer having taken Kim’s classes of chemistry. The end of the episode shows the father daughter duo unites while Frank is being released as a free man.

In the next episode, a famed relationship expert Alice Clark is found dead. As investigation proceeds, it is found out that one of Alice's clients, Steve Warner has had connections with Alice on the pretext of illegal diamond jewelry business which Alice had discovered in her trip to Congo. The case is closed when Beckett found motive with Warner's wife Jane Warner to kill Alice as she threatened to expose them.

As the next episode unravels the murder of two people Pam Hodges and Daniel Santos who had gone out of the way to look like Lanie and Ryan, Beckett and Castle are held in fear that the victims’ doctor Dr. Kelly Neimann has something to do with it when she leaves a message for them "better luck next time". For them, the confession by Jerry Tyson as to having killed both the victims does not yield them any benefit as they are clueless about evidence.

In yet another episode, Ryan and Esposito are being held for their life as an arsonist claims them in a trap. Castle and Beckett vouches for their life as she finds out that Mark Kimball, the building assistant is the murderer known as the Phantom. The victim in the case Blake McCann was investigating this serial arsonist but fell to his trap.

In the twelfth episode, Beckett has to confront her future father-in-law Jackson Hunt an earlier CIA who was ousted out of the CIA as he was part of an unauthorized assassination. The murder of Ted Rollins a hacker is the plot of the investigation. In reality the case brought the father and the son together. The real murderer was Gemini who was being ordered to Jackson by the CIA to revealing the identities of deep cover operatives.

It turns out that she was actually a woman named Claire Suttons who worked as the decoy to Paparazzi. In the background, the original Mandy's relationship issues are being discussed revealing that the real target of the murder was Claire, the person who had kissed Mandy leading to the huge furor in the Paparazzi world. Kate and Beckett discover that the real murderer was none other than Mandy's mother who wanted to keep Zach, Mandy's boyfriend out of her life so as to continue earning money as a star. Alexis meditates over her relationship with Pi, Castle and Beckett announcing their marriage in the papers.

The fourteenth episode reveals that Kate was a model during her good old days for a woman called Matilda King. This woman becomes the prime suspect for the murder of Ella Hayes who worked for Matilda's Magazine Modern Fashion. As it turns out, Matilda was being dubbed to be the murderer by Julian and Yumi, designers who were doing this in an attempt to steal her job. In the background, wedding bells ring for Castle and Beckett as her wedding dress is ready. In the fifteenth episode a teenage girl Madison Beaumont is murdered in her bedroom witnessed by her two room mates.

In an episode the back drop of which is telekinesis, both Kate and Castle discovers that Madison had found out about the fake telekinesis propagated by Lucas Troy. One of her room mates and Lucas Troy was found out to be the murderers.

The sixteenth episode revolves around the death of Justin Marquttee an actor in Broadway. Three people had already confessed to killing the person. However Kate and Beckett realize that all the three persons was invested with a drug that can alter memories and the murder scene was implanted in their memory. The real murderer was a woman in the victim's acting group whose brother was killed in a tragedy and wanted revenge. Back in home, Alexis fears that if she moves in back with Castle all that her father had said earlier would come true. Beckett tells her that this would not be the case and to stop punishing herself.

In yet another episode, Kate is made to work as an agent for the drug lord Lazarus. She was asked to kill a guy which she staged. However, when she was brought before the real drug lord Vulcan, he identified her and threatened to kill her. She was saved by Elena, the person whose role she played before the drug lord. The investigation reveals that her family was killed by an enforcer known as Green Dragon in Okinawa. Castle, Ryan and Esposito discover that Jade was going to meet a patron named Saito, whom they fear to be the green Dragon. As the turn of investigations reveal, Green Dragon was none other than Randall Bedford dad to Jade’s boyfriend Dean. He was one of the ninjas, the other being Jade’s sister.

In yet another episode, a banker named Peter Cordero was murdered to set up Jamie Berman the head of the firm where Peter was working. Apparently, the US Legal Attorney Officer had used the victim as a wire for conducting investigations on Jamie Berman.
