The series revolves around the character of Pearson Hardman, a prestigious, corporate law firm based in Manhattan. Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) is one of the top attorneys in the city and gets promoted as a senior partner at Pearson Hardman. Harvey is forced to hire an associateand hires Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) for the position, by going against the rules at Pearson Hardman which requires employees to be graduates of Harvard law school.

Mike doesn’t have a law degree from any law school at all and is, in fact, a college dropout. Harvey takes on Mike due to his photographic memory and intelligence. The supervisor of Pearson’s first-year associates is Louis Litt (played by Rick Hoffman), who is jealous of Harvey. Rachel Zane, (played by Meghan Markle) is a paralegal at the firm, who aims to be an attorney but due to her anxiety during the tests, she doesn’t attend Harvard. Donna Paulsen (played by Sarah Rafferty), is Harvey's legal secretary, who finds out that Mike has never attended Harvard. Lastly, the managing partner of the firm is Jessica Pearson (played by Gina Torres).

The show is a combination of comedy and drama which always makes for good television. The characters are powerful and mesmerising, capturing the minds of the audience.The script and dialogue of the show are full of wit and fun to watch. Every episode of Suits has a self-contained case which keeps the viewers on their toes.The chemistry between all the characters is so natural which is a delight for the viewers.

It is interesting and hilarious to see how the lead characters Harvey, and Mike tries to keep their situation a secret that Mike is a college drop-out and doesn’t have a degree, from their co-workers in the firm and how they take on cases and deal with them.
