Smith and it aired on ‘The CW’ This show belongs to the romance-horror genre. The series was broadcasted for the first time on September 10, 2009.This show had been developed by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson and had been produced by Bob Levy, Julie Plec, Leslie Morgenstein and Kevin Williamson. The show is set in a supernatural town in Virginia known as ‘Mystic Falls’.

This story involves around a girl by the name Elena Gilbert, and the situations that eventually take place in her life with the entry of the vampire brothers Damon Salvatore and Stefan Salvatore. The fifth season of this series aired between October 3, 2013, and May 15, 2014. Elena begins her freshman year of college at Whitmore college along with Caroline. There they face a bad experience where their classmate dies because of a vampire. Katherine seeks Damon’s help as she finds herself in trouble because of her enemies.

Stefan, who is underwater hallucinates Damon telling to turn off his humanity to come out of the water. Damon, Elena and Sheriff Forbes go in search of Stefan and find him dead. Later, Elena and Katherine find Stefan at a bar in their dream. Along with Damon, they start locating the waitress, whom Stefan had bitten. Due to Qetsiyah’sspell on Stefan, he suffers from amnesia. Elena succeeds in her plan of reminding Stefan of his past, and at that moment Stefan tries to kiss her.

Elena moves back from Stefan and tells him about her relationship with Damon. This makes him jealous, and he turns off humanity; he later attacks Jesse. Damon and Jeremy plan of bringing back Bonnie to normal world by sacrificing Silas who wants to turn off humanity. Elena who assumes that Stefan might be in danger goes near Qetsiyah, and there she gets trapped. After some series of events, Elena and Stefan have some strange dreams about themselves being closer. This makes them as well as Damon feel awkward.
