The 17th International Indian Film Academy Awards also known as 2016 IIFA Awards took place from 23 June 2016 to 26 June 2016 in Madrid, Spain. This four-day extravaganza included MULA Fest/ IIFA Rocks, an exhibition of urban trends, IIFA Stomp, and the main IIFA Awards. For the awards ceremony, the nominations were announced previously on 26 May 2016. It was held to honour the films that released in 2015. It was presented by International Indian Film Academy. Colors TV broadcasted it later. The main awards ceremony took place on 26 June at Irema congress centre in Madrid.

International Indian Film Academy Awards 2016 is the most anticipated award show of the year in India. It is more commonly called as IIFA awards by the people. The 17th IIFA awards ceremony was held in Madrid, Spain.

The mock face off done by them was the highlight of their anchoring. It also saw the performance of the very charming and popular Priyanka Chopra who sang her popular songs and performed on stage. Hrithik Roshan danced on stage and made the audience and his fans go crazy with his dancing skills. In totality this was an amazing award show as always and rose way above our expectations like always.
