‘The Star Parivaar Awards’ is an accolade given by Star Plus to promote the characters and programs aired on Star Plus. The channel instituted its first awards ceremony on July 03, 2003. It was held in Mumbai. The event took place to recognize the outstanding portrayal of the characters that were shown on Star Plus TV channel in the year 2002-2003. It was also called as the first Star Parivaar Awards ceremony.
