We all know that Television industry is growing with each passing day. New actors, new serials, upcoming directors and producers are entering this industry with a hope to succeed. And if they are not rewarded and recognised by the audience, then it would hinder the way of new artists. Because of this, each channel organises award functions these days. And in between these award ceremonies, the most prominent one is Television Style Awards. One of a well-known name of Television Industry and Queen of serials, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Marinating films combined venture Television Style Awards appreciates the spectacular performance of T.V stars.
In the year 2015, Television Style Awards were organised in Mumbai. In this Grand event, many stars performed dance, comic roles, sing and enjoyed this show to the fullest. And finally, the efforts of actors were about to pay off in the form of awards. Starting with the Most Stylish Male on screen was bagged by the heartthrob hunk, Gautam Gulati whereas its female version went to Karishma Tanna, both for Bigg Boss 8. Most Stylish personality off screen went to Krystle Dsouza. If we talk of negative roles, most loved Vamp will be won by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Star Anita Hassanandani.
Gaurav Chopra of Uttaran also won the award of most stylish villain. Balika Vadhu fame, Siddharth Shukla made a debut in movies from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. That’s the reason he was named as ‘Most stylish leap from TV to films.’ Costumes are the most important part of any character. And Television Style Awards honours the Best costumes of characters. Best Costume (Male) went to Gautam Rode of Mahakumbh, and Mouni Roy bagged the best costume (Female) for her role in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Siddharth Nigam went on to bag Most Stylish Debut.
Most Stylish Child artist was also a category, and Spandan Chaturvedi won this award. Each year, some of the actors set the trend in the industry with their style. Divyanka Tripathi and Surbhi Jyoti won the Stylish Trendsetter of the year. Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘ Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’ leading Jodi won the Most Stylish Jodi honour. Best TV Style icon in reality space went on to the most famous TV show’s host, Kapil Sharma for Comedy Nights with Kapil. A special award was given to Ronit Roy for being Style Icon. Award night ended with some smiles and promises to meet next year again with some more exceptional performances.
