Love-triangle is the central theme of the serial. Arjun and Saanjh families live in the same apartment. Arjun and Saanjh become friends since childhood. Saanjh develops feelings for Arjun and keeps as secret. Both families come to know Saanjh's love and get along with her. As a lawyer, Saanjh handles a case for Maya's company. Maya a young woman entrepreneur holds a fashion business firm. Arjun joins in Maya's company as a photographer.

Maya and her mother live alone in her bungalow. Innately, Maya behaves strange towards everyone because her father Ashwin treats cruelly in her childhood. She is afraid of her father's presence. Ashwin tries to trouble Maya on public she became nervous. On seeing that Arjun warns him and save her. This incident creates a soft corner for Arjun in Maya's heart and she gradually develops love. She finds out Saanjh loves Arjun, so she indirectly threatens Saanjh to stay back from Arjun. Maya cannot allow any other woman in his life and her love for him is unconditional.

The plot takes the twist. Maya indirectly demands her love of Arjun and she creates a situation that makes him propose instantly. To make Arjun as her own she decided to marry him. On the day of wedding, Ashwin catches fire and die. Arjun's mother denies the marriage considering death as a sign of negative omen. Maya uses her charm and they marry on the same day. Maya started to separate Arjun from his family and friends. She plans to allure Arjun showing luxury, name, and fame.

The story takes another turn where the couple has completed 3 leap years and everything changes. Arjun started to regret marrying Maya. The love has diminished between the couple. Meanwhile, Saanjh who returns from abroad visits Arjun in his office. Maya does not wish Saanjh re-enter Arjun's life. Adding another twist Sammy an ex-boyfriend of Maya appears.
