Ek Nayi Ummeed Roshni Season 2 is a Hindi drama broadcast on the LIFE OK channel. Roshni is a doctor and she works in the Leela hospital in Bhopal. Her family has grandfathers, her mother, Vasundhara, a father Anand, and a brother, Rajat. Both her grandfathers are doctors. Badri, one of her grandfathers, is the best friend of AK, Roshni’s real grandfather. Badri is just saved by AK and has been discharged from Leela hospital. AK is the owner of the Leela Hospital, which was built in memory of his dead wife’s name. Roshni belongs to a family of doctors. They decide to make a trip to a rural hospital.

AK is informing and motivating his hospital colleagues before going on the trip. Roshni is along with her friends Nikhil and Nitin, from London, on the trip. Nikhil wants to share his feelings with Roshni that he loves her. He is her close friend and is afraid that he will ruin their friendship. They arrive at the rural hospital and are surprised to see the conditions and the atmosphere. AK is the lead doctor of this rural hospital, and his three students arrive. Roshni, Nikhil, and Nitin have a picnic with AK. They are surprised why AK had come to this small hospital, leaving his comfortable and big hospital in the city. AK says it is his passion. Unfortunately, a little boy falls and cuts open his leg. But due to lesser facilities available in this area, the child has to be transported to the Leela Hospital. Roshni and Nikhil start operating on his cut. Nikhil shares his feeling with Roshni regarding how much he notices her and likes her.

Roshni’s mother senses their change of feeling from friends. AK’s best friend, Badri, is still under his care and is recovering. AK’s family wants to appoint Dr. Malhotra from the City Hospital in the Leela Hospital. But AK is not so interested in appointing him due to his reputation. They need a surgeon in the Leela Hospital as there are currently only two, one of whom is not in the city. Roshni is staying with her friends in the house. Nikhil and Nitin are returning to London. Anand had left his surgeon job, because of a mistake he made and now he teaches anatomy. But Vasundhara is persistent in hiring Mr. Malhotra. Rajat also is in favor of this decision from the point of view of numbers of money.
