This show revolves around the Life of Gauri ( Divya Malik A young talented and beautiful actress from the ca >> Read More... ) who has a lot of faith in the powers of Goddess Vindhyavasini. The story starts in the town of Mirzapur and intertwines faith and love into one another, making it a kind of myth-love story.

Vindhyavasini is an avatar of goddess Durga. Her temple is located at Vindyachal, which is 8km away from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh.

The Goddess gets her name form the Vindhya Range and the name literally translates to “one who lives in the Vindhyas Range”.

The show first aired on 20th May 2013 and is continued on the BIG MAGIC entertainment channel.

The Story revolves around Gauri and Shiv who meet through the blessing of goddess Vindhyavasini. It also shows how the goddess protects her disciples from evil and how she punishes evil to protect the ones she loves.

Gauri is an orphan living with her grandmother. She has to listen to a lot of criticism daily for not getting married quickly and not being suitable for finding respectable marriage proposals. Not only people from the society, but from her own family start going against her. Through all this, she keeps faith in her Goddess and finally ends up meeting Shiva who becomes the love of her life.
