On Indian Television, so many dramas are being telecast for years. Few grab the audience's attention ranges from youngsters to adults without gender bias. The recent series Naagin captured the pulse of the viewers irrespective of age and gender. The Indian supernatural drama Naagin was broadcast on Colors TV from1st November 2015.

The show receives good feedback on Colors TV to earn No.1 at TRP rating. The first season started on 1st November 2015 and ended on 5th June 2016. The second season, Naagin 2, began on 8th October 2016. Santram Varma, Chandini, Niraj, Lalit Maratha. Rakesh Chowdary directed the series. Mrinal Jha, RM Joshi. Neha Singh has written the story. Rm Joshi joined hands with Neha Singh, Shivani Shah, and Anurag Sharma for the screenplay. Ekta Kapoor produced the series under the banner of Balaji Television banner.

Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Ada Khan were the lead characters of season 1. Again the cynosure Mouni Roy, Karanvir Bohra, Kinshuk Mahajan, Sudha Chandran, Aashka Goradia, and Adam Khan played the prominent roles in season 2. The theme of the series includes love, revenge, betrayal, violence, supernaturalism, seduction, and lust. Naagin bagged many awards and one of the high-rated television series. Naagin 2 is the spin-off Naagin 1.

Mouni Roy does her double act this season. Season 2 begins with the previous season where Ritik takes Shivanya to the hospital, and she gives birth to the girl baby six months early. After 25 years, Shivanya does not want her daughter Shivangi to become a Naagin. So, she consults with Guruji, who tells her that she had to go back 25 years and marry. Rocky Nikhuj falls for Shivangi; Shivanya arranges a marriage for both without knowing Rocky's relation. Actually, Rocky is Yamini's great-nephew and Ruchika's fiance.

Shivangi and Shivanya are attacked on marriage day. Shivangi (disguised Shivanya) as a bride is dead before Ruchika. Escaped Shivangi meets Guruji and learns about her family. Her father, Ritik, is the son of Suryavanshi Singh. He is from the family of the Naagmani protectors, and Shivangi holds the only rights to touch Naagmani.

After knowing all, Shivangi swears to take revenge on the murderers. Meanwhile, Ruchika and Avantika try to grab the Naagmani but fail. Once Shivangi sees a nightmare and attempts suicide by falling from the cliff, she turns out Naagin now. She meets Shesha Naag, who asks her to take revenge on her mother's death and protect Naagmani. Shivangi turns 25, and to transform as Naagin, she has to recite 3 words. Further, the serial moves how Shivangi revenges her enemies. How she protects Naagmani from the evil forces form the rest of the serial.
