Love? A magical word that brings forth a plethora of emotions. It is a skip of the heartbeat, a stinging pain and a gush of emotions. So much to think, so much to express. For some, it is a lifelong happiness and for some a lifelong memory. But, for all of us, there’s something in common: the era of love is often the period of intense beauty. It is a period when the sun is at its brightest point! We go through sudden and elaborate changes, and we are no longer in our control! Well, this is what this serial has in store for you.
It is a non-fiction youth show specially designed to offer true stories of various emotions we as human beings experience. The makers of the show had decided to set the ball rolling for season 4 in affirmation to the love the previous seasons had received. It was launched on 17-4-2015 and aired on the channel Zing. The pair of Surbhi Jyoti (of Qubool Hai fame) and Meiyang Chang (who stepped into the limelight via his participation in Indian Idol 3) hosted the inital three seasons of the series. However, in the fourth season, the makers decided to give the show a twist.
Parth Samthaan (who was previously seen in several advertisements like Colgate and coke; and in television shows like Life OK’s Savdhaan India and MTV’s specially designed crime series Webbed) and Smiriti Kalra (who played the role of Simi in the celebrated show 12/24 Karol Bagh and had bagged the lead role in Surveen Guggal- Topper of the year) came in as hosts.
Jubin Nautiyal who made his debut in the Indian Music industry with the much-loved song ‘Ek Mulakaat’ belonging to the 2014 released film Sonali Cable, voiced the title song for the entire series (including this season). Saurabh Arora who had previously blended his creative ideas in shows like Aise Karo Na Vida directed the show. According to Zing Gossip, the five important lessons that this season taught the audience are as follows: compliments and surprises are shortcuts to happiness; life is no fun without some drama; one should believe in love at first sight; love is friendship set on fire and love conquers all. Widely-known actress Sunny Leone played the role of ‘ Love Guru’ in the fourth episode of this season.
She shared the screen space with the hosts giving the audience new love tips and also solving Raghu (played by Ashish Khanna) and Raima’s (played by Krissann Barretto) fight. We hope, like all others, this season could embellish your love life too!
