“Tujko hai salaam zindgi” is a Hindi daily serial broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television. The show had begun in December, 2007. The serial publication is created by Sphere Origins. Sony Entertainment Television is a famous Hindi general entertainment channel and known for the daily serials and shows it telecasts. “Tujko hai salaam zindgi” is the story of a teenage girl named Manya Sharma and her journey of life. Manya is a simple girl with a grounded nature and small goals and dreams. Her world is very small. She is passionate about dance and desires to follow her dream.

The plot takes a turn when she happens to forego her dreams and determines to fulfill her grandfather’s wish. Manya’s father was a police officer and he was dropped dead on duty when Manya was a very young kid. Manya’s grandfather, who always wanted to see his son as a successful cop, couldn’t take the death of his son. All his dreams were shattered and son’s death broke him deeply. Havaldar Vaidji, Manya’s grandfather, from then, detached himself from the world outside and lost his desire to live. Manya’s mother wanted Manya to pursue her passion and lead a simple and normal life.

Manya, who always wanted to see her grandfather happy, once happened to notice a charm on her grandfather’s face when she got dressed as a police officer for her college event. This was when she realizes what makes him happy and letting all her dreams go, she decided to concentrate on living up to his aspirations. It wasn’t a cake walk for her to earn acceptance at the police academy. She had to confront many hassles and hurdles to chase her goal. She had to face lots of stuff before finally becoming a cop. Meanwhile, a beautiful love story was also portrayed between Manya and Akaash.

The show got telecasted for three to four months, from December 2007 to March 2008. The show was telecasted during the weekdays, Monday to Thursday at 8:30 PM.
