“Back To Flashback With JaavedJaaferi” is a show which can be termed as a show where the songs back in the 90s are once again reminisced by JaavedJaaferi in a humorous way, which he always does. JaavedJaaferi is known for his contribution to many Bollywood films. He is an actor, a comedian, and a voice actor.
He is best known for being a multi-talented person. He received the IIFA Best Comedian Award for the film Salaam Namaste and National Film Award Inshallah, Football which was produced by him. He has done many films in Bollywood as well as other languages. The show entertains us where Jaaved gives a witty and funny narrative about the Bollywood songs back in the 90s. The one-liners he uses and his crazy dance moves throughout the show are worth the watch.
He unveils and discusses every actor and actress. On the first episode, Jaaved takes us through the journey of the 90s Chartbusters. The songs which most of us loved and the cassettes which we played over and over in our recorders. PardesiPardesi, Chappachappa CharkhaChale, do balleballe were the songs which were played in every auto, canteens, tea stalls, etc. He reminds us of those hit numbers on the second episode. Episode third featured a sense of patriotism. Bollywood’s contribution and trials to unite all the Indians under a single roof of nationality is something which is appreciable and worth celebrating. Rain is a synonym of romance in the Bollywood dictionary.
From Raveena Tandon’s sizzling moves in tip tipbarsapaani to crazy dance moves of Aamir in the rain were reminisced in the fourth episode. Many such episodes celebrate the glory of Bollywood songs and music. The sixth episode titled ‘Khantastic’ celebrated the presence and contribution of Khans to the Bollywood.
The show takes us back to the 90s songs of Khans. ‘Itemiya’ is an episode which flashes the viewers back to the item numbers of the 90s. Telugu film industry, Tollywood’s way of featuring the item numbers was also discussed on the show. ‘90’s hit jodis’ titled an episode features the hit pairs of Bollywood like Shah Rukh and Kajol, and how these pairs made the fans blown away with their feet tapping songs.
The lyrics are of course the integral share of the songs, and we had some crazy stuff written in the 90s songs.
