Dawat-E-Eid was a special event telecast on Zee TV on 2nd August 2014. It was a celebration of the Muslim festival of Eid. ' on Zee TV was the Muslim community, Eid turns out to be an important festival for them, hence in reel life it is shown that the main family of Qubool hai, with the entire cast, throws a grand celebration at their mansion inviting their friends, who turn out to be the cast from other shows on going on Zee TV.

Another special feature of the three-hour long event was that it also had a cooking competition between the male and female protagonist of each show. The lead actresses teamed up together and challenged the boys to cook a delicious Eid Dawat (Grand Meal), the boys not wanting to hurt their ego readily accepted. In an interview on the set of Dawat-E-Eid, Parineeti said that it was lovely to watch the TV characters in real life, and also more fun to shoot with them. On a side note, she also mentioned what great platform events like Dawat-E-Eid provide for film promotion, especially their new film Dawat-E-Ishq whose theme and style was so similar to the on-going party. All songs from Dawat-E-Ishq were played during the run time of the event. These included the title track Dawat-E-Ishq, and an upbeat qawwali Rangreli. Musicians Sajid-Wajid also attended the proceedings and gave power-packed performances. Anupam Kher who plays the role of Parineeti's father was also there to lift the spirits.

The Zee TV actors each gave wonderful performances; this included the lead couples from the shows Jamai Raja Jamai Raja drama series, broadcasted on Zee TV cha >> Read More... , Qubool hai, Kumkum Bhagya Kumkum Bhagya was broadcasted on Zee TV channel. I >> Read More... etc. Hit Bollywood songs like Jumme Ki Raat Hai, Mera Naam Ishq, Main Rang Sharbaton Ka and Wallah Re Wallah were performed. The set of the program was magnificently decorated and was colorful like the dressing attires of all the characters. To sum it up the show was a success and gave the Zee TV viewers a fresh change from the regular programs.
