Another Version Of This Serial :
My grandfather called me to understand that why his voice is frequently breaking disconnection of call or not in coverage area whenever he is traveling in a bus or train. So today we are going to learn about the telephonic/call signal path/procedure from one mobile to another in simple manner/language. Johncalls to Justin by his mobile. The signal from Johns travels from his mobile to the nearest tower.
Dabba (BTS – Base Transmission System) set with tower sends the message to the nearest exchange to search for the called mobile no. Now exchange search for home exchange for that NO. Whether the NO. is local or STD. All the No Are Uniquely registered in the card which is set up in the exchange. After that card will search the current location of the mobile. The card will send a message to the locally registered tower which tells that whether the mobile is in that tower location or not and reports to the exchange.
Now exchange internal software will search for the mobile present location. When it found the nearest tower of the mobile present location, it connects the two tower i.e signal reached from mobile (Johns) to mobile (Justins). this all happen in less than a micro second. In the case of telephone, all are taken care by MDF (main distribution frame).MDF is a building block with huge messy wire established in exchange. MDF decides the Telephone No.
The reason behind the question the why call doesn’t complete or not reachable because when the person (John) or (Justin) or Mobile is moving continuously that means mobile is continuously changing its position or nearest tower which is the medium of connection. While John or Justin were moving it continuously breaking the signal connection and making a connection with another tower which takes time much more than prescribed time written in the coding of the system. Ultimately not only we lost or our call is dropped or NOT REACHABLE, however, our battery will also be used in no time. (discharge easily)
The suggestion is whenever you are traveling don’t use your Phone until unless there is no emergency or call when you are not moving. After completing your journey restart your mobile so that it connects perfectly with the nearest tower.
