Housewives are known as the superheroes of every house. In this world where every woman wants to do a job and stay out, homemakers are the ones who make the house a home. They say that reason of a happy family is a happy homemaker. SAB TV has always been that channel which broadcast comedy shows. This time, it has initiated to launch a very different show called ‘Happy Housewives Club.’ This club focuses on the hidden talents of every homemaker of India. The best thing about it is that not only big cities are part of it, but small towns are also invited to be the part of this lovely show. Happy Housewife Club consists of members who are only wives. The show aired in September 2010. SAB TV started with twenty clubs at the beginning. By the end of the year, they had 2000 clubs.

The show has set up to change the orthodox thinking of the Indians about homemakers. Homemakers are generally known to do household courses only, but they don’t know how brilliantly they do it. In this show, homemakers form a club in their locality. Sometimes, they all go out on a picnic. There they play games or share meals made by them and enjoy their day out. In some episodes, they are all seen doing gardening. They work as a team, some plant the seed, some water the plants, and some harvest their kitchen garden. Mostly, homemakers prepare some music and dance performances to entertain the viewers.

Activities like pottery, cooking, and even washing and hanging clothes out are done so cheerfully by these beautiful homemakers. Few groups also take up a social issue and prepare a performance to spread their message. Registration for these clubs is very simple. The person who is registration must have three qualifications. Firstly, they should be above 18 years of age. Secondly, they should be married, and thirdly, they should be homemakers. Interested homemakers must form a group and register on SAB TV online.

The group includes eight to ten members only. There is no maximum age limit, but mostly age group of 18-35 is seen to show more interest. The channel then chooses an in charge of the team and provides them with membership cards and club hampers.
