Hindi Tv Show Love Lockup

Love Lock Up is a reality series, shown on UTV Bindass. It is a platform for couples to reconcile in spite of their differences. Couples in a marriage, live-in relationship or a serious committed relationship try and fix their love life by spending six days of their lives in a closed habitat. The show took all of them away from their home, work and all distractions. In the lock up they don’t have access to phones, television, internet or shopping. The only thing they have is their partner and the mutual problems.

A counselor was provided who gave them tasks of difficult sorts, given that they have been avoiding each other. The nation watches them on the screen while they discuss the relationship issues. The family members and friends watch them from a room adjacent to theirs. When one partner accuses a third person of a problem, they bring in that individual into the lockup as well. Love Lock Up's basic objective is to clear all the complications between the couples. Launched on 10th January 2011, it consisted of 52 episodes having 13 couples as participants.

UTV Bindass came up with this unique show Love Lock Up, which acted like a therapist for its earlier show Emotional Atyachar, which exposed many cheaters leading to break up. Hence, the channel planned to give a second chance to broken relationships through this show. The show worked as a counselor for couples, who were trying to mend the relationship. So if your love is going wrong then a breakup or divorce, or just ignoring the issue would not help. In Love Lockup, the troubled couples were enclosed in a place where they would stay for few days. They will have no choice but to deal with each other, understand each other and give their relation the second chance.
