This show is organised by Viacom 18 Media Private Ltd. in association with LinkedIn Corporation. The applicants will go through various stages, and those who are selected will get a chance to acquire summer internship job in any of the twelve India’s reputed companies depending upon the profile they are offering.

The users need to create their profile which will describe the various roles they have performed, achievements as well as endorsements from their connections. Users have the option to join different groups as per their requirement to increase their knowledge in that particular field. With all these features, LinkedIn proves to be a beneficial platform to acquire new job opportunities among the people.

After getting influenced by the social media power, LinkedIn with the support of MTV launched a Get A Job drive. They have included leading companies like L’Oreal, PepsiCo, Tata Consulting Services, Flipkart, Reliance Industries, Grey Group and Mercedes – Benz, etc. LinkedIn MTV Get A Job provides a summer job opportunity to all the young users. These jobs are strictly for those students who are presently pursuing a graduation or a post graduation degree. The students should be over 18 years of age and a citizen of India.

LinkedIn MTV has 12 interesting jobs in India’s top companies. They are searching for the candidates who have the potential to make it to the top. The duration for these internships will be of 4 months. The applicant needs to sign in or sign up with their LinkedIn account and make it look impressive because it’s the LinkedIn account that will act as their resume for the recruiters. The candidate can apply for all the 12 jobs, but they will be shortlisted by their quality profile and the company’s requirement.

The final round of the shortlisted candidates in the city from where the company he has applied to belongs. Along with MTV, other companies were also associated with this campaign but were not revealed to the viewers. However, this campaign has benefited LinkedIn in all ways.
