The show started broadcasting on MTV India every Saturday at 7 ‘O’ Clock in the evening from January 19, 2013. Every season a new format is introduced to the show to make it unpredictably adventurous and laborious for the contestants.

In season 10, Raghu Ram and Ranvijay divides themselves into two teams, and their teams consist of old Roadies called Veteran Roadies and Newcomers respectively. To make it more interesting, a new elimination technique is adopted where the voted-out contestants are sent for a challenging task with each other or with the opponents of another team. There is a dissatisfactory notion in the minds of Newcomer Roadies as they are entirely unknown of the dangers in Roadies are at a mishap as compared to experienced Veterans, this intuition is soon clarified by both the team leaders as they explain the complete uniqueness of the new season to the contestants.

Season 10 is a long challenge for Roadies which is divided into 12 episodes beginning in Delhi; the introduction is in the tradition of Nagaland, and the journey of new Roadies starts with a sense of anxiety on one hand and excitement on the other. The episodes are formed from a task appointed to Roadies which is a fight in between and against the opponents of the other team. Initially, the Newcomers fight Veterans and gradually as a whole they quarrel for their survival in the team.

It becomes highly entertaining to watch these players fight for existence like portraying the metaphor of life as a war. The show is highly descriptive of its tasks, and before contestants are asked to perform them, the safety check team finds out all the possibilities of injury to reduce and eliminate the chances of anybody getting hurt. Raghu Ram and Ranvijay take the tasks first as experiments specifically not in the presence of their teams and makes sure of the safety guard of every task.
