The first episode of the show Stars @ 12 aired in August 2011. This was one of the first shows launched by UTV Stars. It was a daily show which telecasted celebrity news at noon. It summarized all the news from Bollywood and confirmed the rumors straight from the horse’s mouth that are from the celebrities themselves. It was a daily dose of Bollywood news, scandals, and gossips presented by the best anchors of UTV Stars. The stars confirmed or denied the inside news themselves. This show claimed to get all the celebrity news before any other channel.

This show reported on celebrity breaking news events, exclusive interviews and panel discussions with the biggest stars. It also reported on behind the scenes first looks, teaser and trailer launches and the latest stories from the world of entertainment including television and literature. Some episodes also focused on movie reviews and music countdowns. Stars @ 12 covered the launch of this calendar. Exclusive launches also included the official video release of Priyanka Chopra’s song ‘Babli Badmaash’ from the movie Shootout at Wadala. Priyanka Chopra herself unveiled the song along with the stars. The show also focused on the box office releases giving a lowdown of the first-day show statistics and audience opinions. Along with the viewer’s reaction, it also featured interviews with the producers giving the full picture. The show ended with the closure of the channel UTV Stars in 2014.
