Hindi Cartoon Tom And Jerry Show

The ‘Tom And Jerry’ show is an animated sitcom comedy directed by Charles A Nicholas. The show was also known as ‘The New Tom and Jerry Show’ which was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in association with MGM Television in 1975, but it came to the Indian viewers through the Pogo channel.

The two characters, Tom and Jerry, appeared for the first time in animated installments produced exclusively for televisions. The show is in Boo-Boo format where it tells us that after years of rivalry Tom and Jerry finally become the best of friends. They compete in sports, solve mysteries together, help others in trouble and even run after evil villains. The cinematography was done by Jerry Mills, Ray Monahan, Norman Stainback and Roy Wade. The show contained a total number of 16 episodes.

It may be noted that in the original show the ordinary house cat would be enjoying the good life on his owner’s dime. He would raid the fridge, watch TV or be chilling near the poolside.
