Bande Baratava Kala is a drama series which got aired on the Colors Kannada channel. It is a Kannada language show which got broadcasted every weekday from Monday to Friday in the 10:00 to 10:30 PM time slot. The story of the show focuses on the life of two families. One belongs to an urban household while the second belongs to a rural household. The series focuses on their lives and problems and how they go on to face them. As the story unfolds, we continue to see them face different kinds of challenges but never truly being happy. They go from one incident to the next trying to get a better grip on their life and to attain a happy future but get faced with something or the other along the way.

As the story progresses, we get to witness these complications in detail, many of which threaten to break apart their families as well. Owing to the budding relationship with Mohini, Alwa must come face to face with Nagaveni. He nearly loses his house itself due to his negligence. Things get seriously complicated for him, and it seems like their family will have to face some very tough times. At the last moment, they can prevent the sale of the house and keep a roof on top of their heads. This series of events leads to numerous confrontations amidst the family. It gives rise to a number of problems, none of which are easy to resolve or deal with for them. On the other hand, we see that Niveditha cannot deal with her husband or marriage anymore.

She decides to leave her husband for good and come over to stay at Alwa’s house. He chooses to give her refuge, but this leads to complications within his marriage and household. This gives rise to a feeling of mistrust and jealousy. Various misunderstandings start to crop up in between them. The series has gotten received well by the audience members for the crisp story and gritty portrayal of the lives of the characters. It bonds well with the viewers and keeps them engaged the entire time. The characters are all rooted in real life, and their characters got developed very nicely. At the end of it all, the show drives home the point that happy households too have their own problems to deal. On the other hand, unhappy families tend to find some unhappiness in their lives at all times.
