Jwalamukhi is a serial aired on Udaya TV. The genre of the serial was drama and family feud. It was aired in 2009 and became popular among Kannada households. The serial was directed by T. N. Seetharam, one of the prominent Kannada movie directors, actors and TV serial writers. He also acted in the serial as the protagonist. He was paired opposite Swetha Srivastava. She worked in many Kannada movies and TV serials. It was her second serial opposite T.N. Seetharam, the other being Malebillu. In 2014, she won a Filmfare award. The serial ended after a year. The serial was nominated for several Telly awards.
