Rajasekar is an old man who lives secluded in a village with his son, Arun and his maid Ganga. Rajasekar lives in an old house and has a lot of inherited wealth. His family is well respected in the village. His house has a snake mound to which Ganga prays regularly. The mound has an ‘Icchadari Nagin’ trapped inside it. The snake vies for Rajasekar and his family and will not stop until all of them are killed. To save the family residing in the house, it was trapped by Naambhoodhari.

Rajasekar’s health worsens and his entire family comes to visit him, not to check on him but to ensure that they inherit the wealth. Arun decides to remarry on his family’s wish. However, two girls who Arun chose as prospects go missing. Sensing trouble, they call the Naambhodhari. He reveals that the spirit of Arun’s first wife, Janaki is causing havoc to save him from his vicious relatives. It is also revealed that Arun’s uncle killed Janaki and he has a daughter named Devasana.

The Naambhodhari advises that Arun should marry Ganga, who he considers to have divine blessings. Later, when Ganga is worshipping Nagamma, she accidentally spills blood on the mound. The prophecy said that the snake would be released if the blood of a virgin is spilled on it. As a result, the Naaginbreaks free from the supernatural bond and enters Ganga’s body to seek revenge.

The Naagin is powerful only during specific intervals, so she plans to kill Rajasekar’s family accordingly. However, Janaki’s spirit gets wind of this and she enters Devasana’s body to stop Nandini, the Naagin. It is now the battle between Nandini and Janaki that will decide the fate of the family.
