Kannada Tv Serial Rajkumari

Rajkumari is a drama show which came on the channel Zee Kannada. The show is a Kannada language one which came on every weekday between Monday and Friday in the slot between 8:00 PM and 08:30 PM. It premiered on Indian television on 23rd April 2012. The program got based upon stories set within none other than the Mysore royal family itself. This is to build on top of tales which are already common knowledge. Some stories regarding the queens who ruled over Mysore have already gotten recited over generations, and some are even documented. Though much of it is already in the domain of public knowledge, there is little which is directly known regarding any of the princesses or the Rajkumaris. The stories of this series thus revolve around what occurred in the life of the King and the Princess.

The show kicks off by introducing us to Vijayendra Urs, who is the King. He is someone who is extremely passionate about his palace which he calls Ratna Mahal. The luxury palace holds more significance to him than his own life. He also has a daughter whose name is Lakshmi. She is a beautiful woman and loves her father over anything else in the entire world. The story follows their lives and dynamics amidst one another. These two protagonists are the central characters of this tale. One day, owing to the development of certain situations, King Vijayendra loses his entire fortune along with his dear Ratna Mahal. The once powerful and wealthy king has now been left a poor man. With this turn of events, the real saga begins, and this father and daughter pair must begin life afresh. They have lived all their lives amidst the riches of the castle and having all their whims taken care of. But now that they are all alone in the world, they must fend for themselves. Many questions arise during this critical juncture.

The Rajkumari got left wondering about what she should now do? She fears she may not have the strength to continue and might just end up being a victim of fate. She tries to stand up and fight like their once beloved castle stood tall but finds it a much more daunting task than she earlier anticipated. She wonders if her lover would come in this hour of need and rescue her from here. But she doesn’t even know who or where he is. She doesn’t know when she would even come across this man and what could he possibly do to protect her. She got left pondering over the many possibilities and must face the harsh truth life has to offer. Though the serial got based on the stories of the royal house of Mysore, it is largely fictional with very little being similar to what had actually occurred in that dynasty.
