Kanvas Bindaas Challenge belongs to the reality genre. The show is a unique game show where participants participate in the television quiz show while sitting at home. Udaya TV broadcasted the show. It used to telecast every week from Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM time-slot. “Brain Share Creations” created the show. The show was commonly known as Bindaas Challenge. Bindaas Challenge had four sponsors, Kurvez, Sasi Soaps, Indus TMT, and Kanva Mart. The set is located at Bengaluru.

The show consisted of 40 episodes and was launched on 18 August. The show had a tag line, ‘Your Win is Guaranteed’, which means that every participant get a prize either in the form of shopping vouchers or a brand item. The show was intensively promoted through Print media, SMS, and Social Media in the state of Karnataka by Innovative Advanced Media (IVR).

The show was targeted mainly at the audience of 14 years age or above. In the show, anyone could participate and win huge prizes. They just had to give correct answers to some questions in order to win the prizes. The questions were based on General Knowledge. Lucky winners used to get prizes worth Rs. 2000 to Rs. 10,000. The others get points that they can collect and can be a weekly or monthly winner.

The mega winner of the whole series gets a Tata Nano car as the prize. After participating in the quiz, participants are made to go to YouTube and Facebook pages of the channel to known their scores and also about winners of that quiz as the information was released through social media only.

The show was technically supported by IVR and cloud servers that were capable of handling 4 lakh SMS and 9000 calls per second. The show got a very good response. The initial response of the show had been to the tune of 75,000 responses. The main advantage of the show was that everyone won something or other which attracted more viewers to it. The promotion of the show also made the audience aware of it and thus increasing the response of the public.

The show was entertaining and engaging. The questions asked in the show were a mixture of average and high quality questions. The winners of the show were not told in the show which used to increase the curiosity level of the participants. It was the first show which had something for all its participants.
