Mohakadal is a Malayalam soap drama that was aired on Surya TV and was broadcasted in 2012 at 8:30 pm from Monday to Friday. The story revolves around Krishna (Praveena), where she is also the illicit daughter of Devendranathan (Gopakumar). Due to some circumstances, she decides not to reveal her identity to her father and to conceal the truth. She then chooses to work as a maid in her father’s house so that she could see him every day. The rest of the episodes depict the struggles and humiliation, she faces in that house and how finally everyone gets to know about her and accept her as a member of that family.

Praveena plays the lead role in this serial. She is always known for her prominent performance in various films and serials. She has also received countless state awards.
