‘Sthreejanmam’ is a Malayalam TV serial in which film actress Chippy played the role of 'Mayammma'. K.P.A.C. Lalitha had encouraged her to take up the role in this serial and, later on, she received many good roles in Malayalam small screen. Even Suresh Krishna made the debut to Malayalam small screen through this mega serial.
As usual, there was the inclusion of a negative character in this soap opera which is indeed a tested formula to destroy the gentle life in a family. Actress Chippy played this negative character and burns the midnight oil to conjure up ingenious ways to destroy a happy family.
