The show’s format is similar to the international version, with slight variations. Each episode features the contestant, the host, and ten people. The contestant is called the hero, while the other ten people are called the strangers. The hero stands in the centre, and the other ten people stand in a circle, surrounding him. All of them stand on a trap door. The format of the show is simple – the hero and the strangers engage in a trivia battle with each other. They answer questions from various topics. T

he host, alternately, asks the questions to a stranger and then the hero. The strangers must answer correctly while the hero is allowed two or three passes. They both have twenty seconds to answer to the questions asked. Incorrect answers from the strangers lead to their elimination and the victory of the hero. If the stranger is eliminated, the hero wins an amount of money. If the hero loses, the stranger wins the amount. Each stranger awards a different amount of money according to the difficulty level of the game.

The questions asked are simple fill-in-the-blanks type with one or two-word answers. In the beginning, the challenges award less amount whereas the ninth or tenth challenge gives a huge amount of money. After the fifth or sixth challenge, the hero can decide to leave the game with the amount he has already won or continue playing. Each episode starts with a new hero, and if he or she decides to leave the show mid game, the host then plays a speed round among the challengers.
