Asianet is a South Indian Entertainment Channel in Malayalam dialect. The channel is associated with Asianet Communications Limited claimed by STAR India. Asianet was the primary exclusive TV Channel in Malayalam and the second telecasted in India. It launched on 30 August 1993. Some of its known Shows are Seethayanam, Nunachi Paru, Vellanakaludenadu, Parasparam etc. Asianet presents Bharthakkanmarude Sradakku, a reality Show in search of the most capable/best family in Kerala. The contenders are chosen from thousand's of people who send their applications. The final 9 families are selected by a board of prominent jury on the premise of tryout held in all main cities of Kerala. During the Show, the Judges test the contestant's ability in a quick, unconstrained and regular presentation of different tasks and foot-tapping numbers and so on before they progress to the following rounds. Bharthakkanmarude Sradakku premiered on Asianet on 31st May 2013 at 8 in the evening. The Finale of the Show aired on 29th September 2013 at 6 p.m. The 5 final contestants of the Show were Johny and Smitha, Jibin and Sonal, Noufal and Amina, Lateesh and Vijisha and Manoj and Bindu. Padmasree Madhu announced the result. The winner of the Show was Manoj and Bindu. They scored 193.5 marks out of 200. They won a prize of 25 lakhs rupees. The first runner-up was Lateesh and Vijisha. The second runner up was Noufal and Amina.

`Navya Nair´ hosted the Show. She is an extraordinary actress. She has acted in many Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. She is a recipient of the Kalaimamani award and Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress. She wrote a book entitled Navya Rasangal. It is her autobiography. Suraj Venjaramood is a mimicry artist and a National Award winning Actor. He has acted in over 100 Malayalam films. He won Kerala State Film Award  for Best Comedy Artist three times. In the year 2014, Suraj received the Best Actor for his performance in superhit Malayalam film Perariyathavar. Meena is a famous actress who worked in many South Indian films as the lead heroine. She debuted in Tamil film Nenjangal in the year 1982 as a child artist. She worked in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and several Hindi films.
