Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 1 is a popular TV show in Malayalam Language. Veruthe Alla Bharya is aired on one of the prominent and most popular Malayalam entertainment television channel Mazhavil Manorama. And, incidentally it is the most popular TV show of this particular channel I.e. Mazhavil Manorama. Mazhavil Manorama aired for almost quite a few years and enjoyed its airing time at the weekend prime time slot of Mazhavil Manorama channel. The show finally aired its final episode on August 4, 2013. The show is of that of a reality game show format much in the line with Hindi Family reality game show Rock N Roll family. But unlike that show, where all family members from 3 generations participated, in Veruthe Alla Bharya only husband and wives participated in the game show.
In the show there were various rounds. In round 1, the husbands among the participant couples played a game and in the next rounds, the participant couples had to sing, dance and act. Based on the performances of the participant couples in each round a combined score is given by the judge’s panel and the final winner is declared in the final round. In each episode only one couple entered the next round and at the end grand finale was held. The show gained immense popularity due to its format.
