The show exhibits several nominations for various awards like Best Film, Best Actor, Best Lyrics, and much more. From all these nominees, one of the exceptional artists is honored with the award. The show covers all the awards for the movies featured in South Indian Languages from Tamil to Malayalam.

In the scenario of Kannada movies, Maleyali Jotheyali was the most nominated movie with 8 nominations. The movies Eddele Manjunatha, Josh and Maleyali Jotheyali grabbed 2 awards. In the case of Kannada movies, Maleyali Jotheyali bagged the Best Film award, Guruprasad was honored with the Best Director award for his movie Eddelu Manjunatha, Ganesh won the Best Actor award for his movie Maleyali Jotheyali, and Radhika Pandit Radhika Pandit another example of a home grown act >> Read More... received the Best Actress award for her movie Love Guru.

From Malayalam movies, Bhagyadevatha and Pazhassi got the highest number of nominations, which is 7 nominations. Pazhaasi Raja won 7 awards, while Paleri Manikyam won 2 awards. In the Malayalam movies, Pazhassi Raja received the Best Film award and Hariharan was awarded Best Director Award for this movie, Mammooty got the Best Actor award for his movie Paleri Manikyam, and Swetha Menon won the Best Actress award for the movie Paleri Manikyam.

As in the case of Tamil movies, Ayan was the most nominated movie with 11 nominations. Kanchivaram movie got 4 awards, while Ayan won 3 awards.
