Pooja is a simple girl with strong determination.

Pooja,along with her friend Mandy, joins in St. Martin’s college without her father’s knowledge to learn more about film direction and fulfil her dream of becoming a director. Right from the first day in her college, Pooja faces many strange experiences from her high-class classmates. She enters into such a world which she has never been familiar with. And faces very tough situations in the starting days of her college life. Pooja being a middle-class girl is seen as a stranger in her college for her looks and dressing style, by the high-class students in that college. Amidst all the strange and weird experiences in her college, Pooja never lets herself down, and accepts each and everything in her life that comes against her in a positive way. A guy named Akash always supported Pooja among the high-class people there. In this college, Pooja meets a guy named Ronit whom she starts loving.

The remaining part of the serial is all about, how Pooja becomes a film director by crossing the hurdles in her life. Pooja faces many criticisms from her family and the outside world. She never loses hopes and stays confident in each and every stage of her life. ‘Ye haimeri life’ was broadcasted between May 2004 and November 2005.
