Vasu Bharathi wrote the serial. The serial has a running time for about fifteen to twenty minutes. The main story of Maragatha Veenai serial lies on two protagonists namely Divya and Shankar. The serial captures their relationship and how the duo face challenges to come up in life. Neema is a woman who decides to start her life afresh and live a very happy life. However, she faces many challenges, hurdles and problems that compell her to hide her identity from the world and go on with her life.
The serial is directed by Niravipandian and produced by Abhinaya creations. Other cast includes Subhadra, Shobana, Raghunath, Nesan, Durairaj, and Havis.
