Namma Kudumbam is a serious family drama that revolves around a single mother who struggles to raise her three daughters. Later on the plot widens when the elder one, Radha is accused of a murder and is imprisoned for life. Radha falls in love with Raja but had to marry his elder brother Ravi due to an unavoidable situation. Raja lands up in evil plans to destroy her relationship with his brother and reveals their past relationship to Ravi. Unable to bear the tortures by Raja, Radha decides to end his life but hurts Ravi accidently and is accused of the murder. The story takes unexpected twist and turns like a suspense thriller when Radha escapes prison and change her identity as Aseena. Posing as a leading business woman, she pits a well laid plan that traps Raja, who ends up losing everything he owned. Namma kudumbam is a cocktail of family issues, emotional turmoil, rivalry and strategic revenge with a mild suspense sprinkled on it. It was telecasted in Kalaingar TV for the first time in 2007 and then retelecasted in 2013 on viewers requisition and the popularity it reached. The story came to an end with successful completion of 251 episodes, telecasted every Monday to Friday at 2.00 PM. It was directed by Sundar K.Vijayan and produced by Evertime productions. Story and screenplay was written by Raj Prabhu Raj Prabhu is a famous actor and director in Kanna >> Read More... . Kushboo played the lead role of Radha while Actresses Uma Maheshwari and Keerthana played the role of her sisters. This is one of the most popular serials with top rating even when some viewers criticized it of the controversial practicalities in the screenplay.
