He became popular for adapting few of his novels in television and films. Romapuri Pandian is one of his popular novels that have been adapted by Kalaignar TV as a high-cost serial.
It is an epic story that already appeared in a Tamil series several years ago. And now, they have converted it into a television serial. The set was shot mostly in Kerala and Jaipur. The story is from an ancient novel that revolves around the life of King Peruvazhuthi Pandian who attempts to build a connection with the Roman Empire.
