The Heirs is a South Korean television series dubbed in Tamil, which aired on Puthuyugam TV, owned by SRM Group of Companies. The show, The Heirs, was first aired in Tamil in 2015. The first episode was telecast on the 11th of February. The show aired on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Each episode of the show is one hour long. It is the first in Indian television history that a South Korean television series has been dubbed and aired in India. 

The Heirs is a teenage romance drama. The show tells you the stories of a few wealthy and privileged high-school teenagers who are about to inherit their family business empires, the problems they face every step of the way, and how they grow through these troubles and reach their goals. Kim Tan is a young man, who is about to take over his father's business, a group of companies called the Jeguk Group. He is the son of his father and his mistress and the second heir to his family's wealth and business.

His brother Kim Won, the first and the real heir of the property, also has his eyes on the business and wants to take it over himself. In a series of tricks, he manages to send Kim Tan away to the US. While Kim Tan is in the US, he meets a vibrant young girl named Cha Eun Sang. Cha Eun Sang lives in Korea with her disabled mother. Her elder sister is in the US for her studies, and the family does anything and everything, from working at people's houses, washing clothes, doing their chores, etc., to earning money to support her studies.

Cha Eun Sang is very depressed with her life in Korea and comes to the US looking for her sister. This is when she meets Kim Tan. Kim Tan is already engaged to Yoo Rachel, another rich daughter of a wealthy businessman in Korea. Despite being engaged, Kim Tan falls in love with Cha Eun Sang. He takes her and her mother with him back to Korea, where he gets her mother a job in his house as a housekeeper. He also gets Cha Eun Sang into Jeguk High School. One day in school, he meets his best friend-turned-foe, Choi Young Do. Choi Young Do, who has always been a bully and is feared by all in high school, starts picking on and irritating Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang, but eventually, Choi Young Do also falls in love with Cha Eun Sang.

Tension starts to build between the two friends and reaches a level where Kim Tan has to choose between taking over his responsibilities towards his family business and choosing his love, Cha Eun Sang. The story starts rolling from there into unexpected twists. Various artists dub the show in Tamil. The main leads of the show are Lee Min Ho, who plays the character of Kim Tan, Park Shin Hye, who plays the role of Cha Eun Sang, and Kim Woo Bin, who plays the character of Choi Young Do. Other supporting roles are played by Kim Ji Won, Kang Min Hyuk, Krystal Jung, etc.

The serial comes under the genres of teenage, drama, and romance. Choi Moon-suk (from SBS Drama Production) is the original creator of the serial. Kim Eun-sook is the writer of the storyline. Kang Shin-hyo and Boo Sung-chul are the director of the serial. The serial has released a total of 20 episodes. The average running time of each episode is 60 minutes.
