Sanjeev Rathan scored the impressive title song for “Then Nilavu” which was written by Yugabharathi. This song had a simple and beautiful dance which brought it many fans. Sarath Sandhar handled the camera for the serial, while Prem took care of the editing. The main story may be a thriller, but director Thirumurugan, coming from a family drama background, gave it a different treatment trying to explain what marriage means and how a husband and wife should be staying together irrespective of the differences one may have. This was told in a technically brilliant manner which helped its success.
