" won four awards each. The honor for best serial went to “Seethamaalakshmi”. Even the best actor (male), best actor (lead role) for female, best outstanding artist, and best comedian was chosen from this serial. Bharath received the best actor award, Pravalika won the best female actor (lead role), Nagababu won the best outstanding performance award and Gopalakrishnan was the recipient of the best comedian from the serial “Seethamaalakshmi”. The best actor (lead role) for male went to actor Ravi Kiran for his superb performance in the serial “Ashta Chamma”. Actress Priya won the best-supporting-actress award for her role in the serial “Sasirekha Parinayam”. The best debut male and female of the year went to Pratap and Chaitra for their magical screen presence in the mega serial “Sasirekha Parinayam”. The best antagonist role in female category was given to Chaitra for her negative performance in the serial “Ashta Chamma”. The other category awards included the best lyricist for Ramajogayya Shastri (Ashta Chamma), best screenplay and best editor award for Ravi and Naresh respectively for their outstanding work in serial “Kanchana Ganga” . The best dubbingartist( male) was given to Yusuf for his voice-over role in serial “Eetharam Illalu”. Dhamu received the best cameraman award for his magnificent camera work in the serial “Sasirekha Parinayam”. Sanjeev Reddy had won the best director award of the year for his outstanding direction in serial “Kanchana Ganga”. The best on-screen couple of the year was shared by Sharath and Jyothi for their marvelous screen presence in the serial “Ashta Chamma”. The ceremony saw the attendance of many popular actors and actresses from Tollywood and Telugu TV industry.
