Telugu Tv Serial Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu Season 1

Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu in other words also known as Koteeswarudu or MEK is a South Indian game show telecasted on MaaTV on June 9, 2014 at 21:00. This game show is an adaptation of the most accredited all over India named Kaun Banega Crorepati, which in turn is an adaptation of UK game show named "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" by Sony Pictures Television.

The game show is most identical to Hindi version in terms of interior decorations, music theme and pattern of choices participants were given to get help while playing this game. This game is mainly related to general knowledge and participants were chosen by call for entry. Participants were asked to send answers to their 5 questions by SMS and few of them were picked randomly. This selection process was carried out by famous Ernst & Young Company. All the selected participants were asked to visit for auditions in Vijayawada, Tirupathi and Hyderabad.

Then 100 contestants were chosen from 1500 shortlisted people.  These people were shot in short video describing about their career and personal life which was telecasted before their appearance in the show to be seated in HOT SEAT which is seat of the contestants. This game show was proposed to be aired in seasons for which Season 1 was aired on June 9 2014. Prominent celebrity and handsome actor Nagarjuna was hosting the first Season with a great respect to all common people. He was for the first time in television industry been host of a game show to make it more nostalgic to all viewers. The game goes much akin to that of similar games, contestants were asked 15 questions with prize money from ₹1000 to ₹1 crore. If contestant can successfully answer all the questions he/she would be granted with ₹1 crore, for this contestants gets to take 3 helplines which are Phone a Friend, 50-50, Audience Poll.
